ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Alex Bratton is a rare find in the technology industry. He is both a hard core technologies and a practiced communicator. At only 29, Alex started Lextech Global Services (his 8th company) in the basement of his family home, bootstrapping the company into what it is today. Eight years later the critical systems engineering firm has seen exponential growth, providing services that combine software, systems, networks and IT operations to deliver rock solid, scalable solutions for a variety of clientele.

Alex has honed his extensive knowledge of the iPhone and iPad platforms by working on many innovative mobile projects, both in-house and for clients. An app distributed through Lextech Labs is called iRa C3 Mobile Video Surveillance and has the distinction of being one of the most expensive -- and highly regarded -- business-oriented apps in the iPhone App Store.

Alex received his BS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1993. While there, he worked at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications developing network and collaboration applications on teh same team that would two years later create the Mosaic web browser.
